Folder Tree and Grid View

I wanted to share some exciting news with you about our TurboCloud Folder Tree and Grid View feature. We have put a lot of effort into making sure that everything is easy to navigate and understand, without any confusing abbreviations.

First, let's talk about the organized folder tree. We have meticulously arranged all the items in a logical and intuitive structure. This means that you can quickly find what you're looking for without wasting any time or effort.

But that's not all. We have also included a grid view of the items, which provides even more details. In this view, you will see pictures, descriptions, manufacturers, catalog numbers, per each prices, and labor units for each item. This comprehensive view allows you to gather all the necessary information at a glance.

To make things even more convenient, we have added images of the item folders in the top row of the grid view. This visual representation helps you identify the items more easily and adds a touch of visual appeal to the browsing experience.

One last feature that I would like to mention is the clickable folder path. With just a click, you can instantly navigate to any folder within the TurboCloud system. This saves you from having to manually search for the desired folder and streamlines your workflow.

We believe that these enhancements to TurboCloud will greatly improve your user experience and make your work more efficient. Feel free to explore the new features and let us know if you have any feedback or questions.

Item Editor

TurboCloud Items utilize an item editor to maintain their data.

Virtual Library

There are over 2 million electrical items available to contractors. Save time from searching through all of the items in your database, that includes thousands of items that you never use.

Use the Virtual Library Folder for virtual copies of the items that you actually purchase. Virtual items are virtual copies of the original items. This keeps your database light weight and fast.

There is a right click menu option that will add an original item to your Virtual Library. This includes the entire folder structure that the item is located in.

 

Virtual Items

Add Virtual Items to folders where needed to save time and for convenience. Virtual items have a brown icon whereas original items have a blue icon.

For example, you can add a folder of virtual fittings to the EMT Conduit folder. Virtual items are virtual copies of the original items. This keeps your database light weight and fast.

Search Feature

Enter your search term into the search textbox and select to search for a Catalog, Description, Folder Name, ID #, Manufacturer, or UPC #.

Advanced Group Renaming

If you would like to change the names of items within a folder, right click on a folder and select Advanced Group Renaming.

Replace "Current Text" with "New Text"

Enter the "Current Text" and the "New Text". Every item that includes the current text will have the text replaced by the new text.

Add "New Text" to beginning of current text.

This allows you to add new text to the beginning of the current text.

Add "New Text" to end of current text.

This allows you to add new text to the end of the current text.
